Lakeshore LifeWorks is a transitional housing program for the aging out foster care population (18-21) in Ottawa County. Lakeshore LifeWorks has partnered with OMA (Orphan Ministry Alliance of West Michigan), other local churches and concerned community members to provide housing, life skills training, and a work program for aged out youth called Youth LifeWorks Project. The LifeWorks Project is a faith based transitional living program for current and former foster youth providing life skills training, resources, education and employment support through nurturing relationships and community connections.

Thank you so much to Mailloux Dentistry for the donation of Christmas stockings + also going as far as customizing the names on the stockings for each youth, and Penny and Monica for supplying the food for the event with out the support this day wouldn't have been possible. Also a big thanks to MYOI for teaming up with us and organizing an incredible Christmas/Tubing event for our youth! What a great way to start off 2018!!
Our Life Coach partners with foster parents and case workers to develop an aging out strategy and assists youth in defining their life goals and helps them obtain these goals through monthly mentorship and one-on-one sessions. Youth also compile a Life Binder with all of their vital documents .
